Field Diesel Technician – Home Daily

Job Description:
MAD Repair, LLC is hiring a Field Diesel Technician for work based out of the El Dorado area. This position is ideal for someone located in the Wichita area who is comfortable commuting and wants consistent daytime hours with overtime available.

This position involves traveling to customer locations to diagnose, service, and repair diesel trucks and heavy equipment. Technicians work independently and are dispatched to job sites throughout the surrounding region.

Pay:
$35.00 – $45.00 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines and equipment on-site
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
  • Repair suspension and mechanical components
  • Complete service calls and maintain work records
  • Maintain tools and mobile work area

Qualifications:

  • Experience working on diesel trucks or heavy equipment
  • Ability to work independently in the field
  • Knowledge of electrical diagnostics and mechanical repair
  • Must have own basic hand tools
  • 5+ years diesel or equipment experience preferred

Schedule:
Day shift, optional overtime
Work is based around the El Dorado, KS area
